During her first season in blue, the tenacious attacker became a fan favourite with five goals and several assists in 19 appearances during the 2016/17 campaign. She was deployed at left-wing back in the 2017 Spring Series and her efforts were duly rewarded with a contract extension.
After an impressive debut season, England went on loan to Liverpool for the 2017/18 Women’s Super League campaign. She thrived on Merseyside and finished the joint-third highest scorer in the top flight with 10 goals in 16 matches, before returning to Chelsea where she flourished.
