Christian Pulisic injured by brilliant tackle

Christian Pulisic has just limped off injured against Manchester City after 20 minutes.

He appeared to pick up a knock in a tackle with John Stones – one that stopped the winger from having a clear shot on goal too.

He was the second Chelsea player to go out injured tonight, and the third in the last 24 hours. He becomes the tenth first team player to be out injured at the moment. We’re not really sure what to say now – we’ve said it all and it can’t really get much worse.

The only nice thing about this is that it finally gives us the chance to see Carney Chukwuemeka in the first team the best part of a game. We’re not sure whether there will be a formation change or whether he will play in the wide role that Pulisic was in, but either way we’re excited to see him get some time.
